The Gear

Digital Audio Workstation
We use both the Sonic Solutions USP system and the new HDSP system for mastering in hi-res surround.

Equalization and Compression
In the analog realm we mainly use the custom built EAR EQ and limiter / compressors, and the Millenium NSEQ-2 and TCL-2. In the digital world, we use the Weiss EQ1, the TC System 6000, and the Z Systems z-Q6 and z-CL6. Both the TC and Z Systems gear are surround capable.

A/D, D/A, and D/D Conversion
W e have three Pacific Microsonics Model 2’s that handle both the A/D conversion and the fold down from 24 to 16 bit to go to CD.

Analog Tape Machines
We feature 3 ATR machines, including the 1’ machine, with custom built tube electronics and a variety of head configurations to handle both stereo and surround.
